WAVL is Volleyball Western Australia’s (VWA) official indoor league, and represents the highest level of indoor volley in WA.

WAVL has both Men’s and Women’s leagues, and has divisions for all levels of players:

• State League

• State League Reserves

• Divisions 1-4

UWAVC usually has teams in all the above divisions!

Most games are played on Sundays, with a few games being run on Friday nights. Some of the common venues where WAVL games are held are: Loftus Recreation Center, Warwick Stadium, Cockburn ARC, and The Rise. Home Rounds are also run by individual clubs throughout the year for the State League and State League Reserve teams which are held, usually at night, at a club’s home court.

Trials to select teams are held by individual clubs for all members of the public to attend. Usually these trials are held around February-March. See here for the details of UWAVC’s trials in 2021.
