What is WAVL?

The WA Volleyball League is the state’s premier Indoor Volleyball competition held at centres across the metropolitan area from May to September. WAVL has both Men’s and Women’s leagues, and has various levels to cater to all skill levels.

UWAVC usually has teams in all the above divisions!

Most games are played on Sundays, with a few games being run on Friday nights. Some of the common venues where WAVL games are held are: Loftus Recreation Center, Warwick Stadium, Cockburn ARC, and The Rise. Home Rounds are also run by individual clubs throughout the year for the State League and State League Reserve teams which are held, usually at night, at a club’s home court.

Trials to select teams are held by individual clubs for all members of the public to attend. Usually these trials are held around January - February. Stay tuned to our socials to find out more on trials!
